Lastly

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2025

Overview

Lastly is designed with privacy as a default. The app does not collect, share, or sell any personal data to third parties. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no external servers operated by FT Studios.

Data you enter

All data you enter in Lastly — activity names, categories, log entries, notes, and values — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. You own your data entirely.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud on your device, Lastly uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your data across your devices and, optionally, share activities with other iCloud users you explicitly invite. This sync is handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure. FT Studios has no access to your iCloud data.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Lastly schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent to any external server.

Widgets

The home screen widget reads a small snapshot of your activity data from a shared app group container on your device. This data never leaves your device.

Data export

You can export all your data as a CSV file from the Settings screen. This export is initiated by you and shared only to destinations you choose (e.g. Files, Mail). No data is sent automatically.

Children's privacy

Lastly does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app contains no advertising or tracking of any kind.

Changes to this policy
